Unable to create directory /wp-content/uploads/2009/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
I cannot seem to reset the file permissions on this site to allow me up upload…. sigh. Any suggestions would be mighty helpful.

image are still not showing up correctly.
Finally fixed the path in the Settings/Miscellaneous menu of wordpress, setting it back to the default values and now it seems to work! I followed the directions above on http://iarematt.com/wordpress-uploading-not-working-after-moving-host/
